The solution
Transpoco installed its software on 2000 GSE providing the functions of planning, scheduling, tracking and controlling the vehicles on the airport ramps. Thanks to the RFID driver log-in and GPS, Iberia were able to monitor vehicle activity, gain real time vehicle availability and provide an overall awareness of the total fleet usage.
The results
Iberia saw vehicle costs reduced by over 60%, fuel consumption by more than 10% and ensure 100% compliance with AENA regulations. Iberia has now awarded Transpoco the contract to implement the advanced fleet management solution on a variety of GSEs across numerous airports within its Spanish network.
