After learning that GPS tracking can even be used in an artistic capacity, we were surprised to spot another innovative art form on the roads (more concretely, on delivery vans). This case has been referred to as the “Essex Van Gogh”—where Van is blatantly a play on words!
Apparently, a warehouse worker from Essex has dedicated himself to making drawings and pictures in the muck, mud and dust found on delivery vans. According to Mr Konjusha—the name he goes by—the idea was to cheer up delivery drivers at the Basildon Amazon warehouse (where he currently works).
His creations take around 5 minutes at least and 10 vans have so far been targeted; that’s about as much as we know from the media news sites which have been running the story since the beginning of April (perhaps it started as an April Fool’s joke).

TweetAfter he began his artwork, drivers specifically requested their vans not to be cleaned in order to be used as his canvas. "Sometimes they can be a bit grumpy in the mornings when I speak to them, so I just thought I'd do something to cheer them up," he said. "They seem to really like it. People are asking for a drawing now. They say they're going to save money by not washing their vans and then they can get a picture instead."
