On the 12th of November 2013 , Transpoco were delighted to host a distinguished list of guests including Alan Kelly Minister of State at the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport and Lord Mayor of Fingal Kieran Dennison for the launch of a new RPTI service for NIFTI and their Beaumont Hospital bus route.

The bus which has been funded by the national lottery, is an essential service for people living in the North fingal area, giving them regular access to Beaumont Hospital. Using current Department of Transport Appraisals methods, On Value of Time benefit alone, the Beaumont service has contributed circa €40,000 to the Fingal economy to date. This benefit is constantly on the rise with increasing passenger numbers ( NIFTI currently on target for 42,000 passengers this year).

The RTPI service which can be found here shows the real time location of the bus on a Google map and also includes the accumulated benefit ticker showing the amount of money saved since the introduction of this bus service. The benefit and ticker increases with every kilometer that the vehicle drives.

Transpoco were very happy to support long term client NIFTI by launching this online RTPI service and look forward to continuing our excellent relationship with NIFTI.
